Second Post of the Day.

Assalamualaikum.

Well, like a month ago, I finished reading Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood. It's good. It is sexy. I watched the movie before I read the book. The movie is like sexy but stupid. The book is like sexier and it's damn good and romantic. So, never judge a book by its movie. Last year, I read Murakami's After Dark and it's good too. And I am looking forward to read more of Murakami's books. My sister, Hidayah (we call her Heidi), she has like a wide collection of Murakami's books (and collections from other writers too). I feel so small whenever I see her collection of books ._. She's so an avid reader. And I can borrow books from her like a boss.

And I also finished reading One Day by David Nicholls. Like 2 months ago. I really think that the book is romantic (why am I so mushy? ._. ). I asked my sister to read it too. When she finished reading it, she said she thinks that book is just okay. And she said that maybe I spoiled the story coz I was like telling her this and that about the book before she read it. So, whatever. Hehe.

So now I am currently reading Tash Aw's The Harmony Silk Factory. My sister recommended me to read it.

I know I can't write book reviews well. That's why one time my big sister, Ain, told me that I have to improve my reasoning skills. Urghh whatever. :p

I'd say if there's a book version and movie version of the same story, in which the book comes first, I'll always pick the book over the movie. Watching movies is not thrilling as reading books. A night of cuddling with a novel gives me tingly feelings in my stomach and lets my brain get into creative mode, unlike watching a midnight movie marathon, aching eyes and head, tehehee
