MEdSI.

Assalamualaikum and hello.

Alhamdulillah, I passed the MEdSI test and am going for the interview this coming 26th May. I am happy and thankful for what Allah s.w.t has given to me. The choices given by UPU for my MEdSI interview are UiTM and UIA. I did not apply to go to UKM, UPM, or UM. Frankly speaking, my feelings are more to UiTM than UIA. So hopefully, the interview would be a smooth-sailing. I can't choose where to be placed at though I really want UiTM, but I really hope I will be placed at UiTM. InsyaAllah.

To my friends who did not get the MEdSI interview, do not despair. This is my advice, if you really want to be a teacher and wanna pursue degree in TESL or any other courses related to education, regardless at which universities you applied, but if you did not get the MEdSI interview, do not give up. One of my friends who really fulfilled UiTM's requirements to pursue degree in TESL, did not get the MEdSI interview too. And I am so sad because she is one committed girl who really wants to be an English teacher and really want to study in UiTM Shah Alam. She is one of my group-work mates. What she is trying to do is, she is gonna send a letter to UiTM. That letter would be kinda like an appeal letter saying how you have achieved and fulfilled the requirements to be a TESL student for degree but still you don't manage to get the MEdSI interview. If you were to send the letter, send the letter as soon as possible by this week, I think it is best to send it before 24th May as it is the first day where the first batch will be interviewed. Call the admin of UiTM and ask them where to send the letter. When you send the letter, at least you put another effort to fight for what you really want and for those who want and have fulfilled the requirements to be a TESL student for degree, you are not only fighting for what you want, but also for what you deserve. Who knows, you still have rezeki to pursue what you want for degree. Because maybe Allah s.w.t is testing how far we would put efforts for something we really want. Sometimes, the final push is what matters the most. No, I am not implying that you guys should not redha. I just want all of you to put efforts til the end. Do not give up.

Anyway, all the best for those who got the interview. Be prepared and pray.
